Gui Rambelli is a Principal Artist at 2K Games, serving as a visionary architect of the “ground truth” aesthetic for real-time environments. He continues to pioneer Photogrammetry and LiDAR for games and real-time art, bringing over 14 years of experience pushing fidelity and production efficiency with innovation.
Previously, he worked at Activision | Treyarch on the Call of Duty franchise, where he founded and led the Photogrammetry team, most recently contributing to environments, biomes and character scans on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & Black Ops 7.
During his career, Gui had the opportunity to work at The New York Times R&D establishing their scanning pipeline and training the newsroom on the technique, as well as working at Electronic Arts - DICE LA on Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V, responsible for planning and leading scanning trips.
Before that, Gui had accrued 2x Emmy nomination, won 2x Webby awards, and have Collaborated/freelanced for Quixel Megascans, Gnomon School, CGMA, BossKey, NASA, Harvard - Stratus center, SpaceX, Hasbro, Intel and others, always contributing with his expertise and generalist mindset, teaching to and learning from the best in the industry.”
